At Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), data management services have been at the forefront of our work for 30+ years. PNNL provides secure data platforms to collect, store, and analyze data for projects related to biological, environmental, atmospheric, and energy systems. The data management capabilities include highly distributed data collections, online storage systems, cloud-based solutions, using machine learning to develop scientific products and developing digital twins to improve operations and predict maintenance. This talk will provide an overview of the scientific data management capabilities developed by projects funded by Department of Energy. |
